The watch

REDTIM ELITE

Engineered from a blank sheet for instant legibility and hard field use.

The first production REDTIM ELITE dial — 12/24-hour numerals, full minute track and textured matte black finish
The first dial, out of the workshop.
12 and 24-hour numerals, a full minute track, and a textured matte black finish that kills reflections. Lume comes next.

Bezel torque & manipulation (ISO 6425)
Magnetism — 16,000 A/m (ISO 764)
Mechanical shock (ISO 1413)
Water resistance after shock (ISO 22810)
Neutral salt spray (ISO 9227)
Salt fog (MIL-STD-810H, 509)
Sand & dust (MIL-STD-810H, 510)

Tested to recognised ISO 6425 / 764 / 1413 / 9227 / 22810 and MIL-STD-810H methods — test methods, not a certification. Some of these are issued under the labs' ISO 17025 / ACCREDIA accreditation and some are not; each published report will state which. Review methodology →

Alberto Salazar — founder of REDTIM
The founder · why REDTIM exists

Alberto Salazar.

An expensive "extreme-use" watch broke twice — both times after a fall of about one metre. So he built one from scratch, and decided to prove it before selling it. A live-event sound engineer from Palma de Mallorca, his work runs on redundancy: backups built so one failure never stops the show. REDTIM applies the same principle to timekeeping.
